One of a set of Twelve Birthday Pictures I drew for my sister on her most recent Birthday.
No.11 is my personal fave, Krystal the vixen babe from Starfox! I figured she deserved a better outfit than those lousy suits from Assault or Command! I put her in something more...Starfox 64! She looks hot... Note, she also grew out her hair, I think its nice...
Ahh, who doesn't enjoy a nice hot Fox-girl?

Krystal is (c) to Nintendo!

I like the outfit you gave Krystal, particularly in the newer pic you did of her but here as well. This is an interesting take on her design (the different face and... body type), but still seems faithful enough to the source, and the fanboy in me loves the little touches like having a Star Fox patch on her jacket. Although I didn't (fully) hate Assault's outfit, I think this one beats it handily, especially with Krystal having real boots instead of... high heels (high heels in combat? Honestly?). There is no question that this defeats Krystal's Command outfit (it's not even worth wasting the calories it took to flex my fingers to type that, it's so obvious).

Sorry to gang up on you, but I'm kinda with Kit Airheart, as I remember Krystal being small-boobed. But yeah, it's a stylistic liberty, and it's not like you gave her huge torpedo-shaped breasts or anything. Overall, your take on Krystal is definitely one of the better ones I've seen on this site.

To end on a funnier note, Krystal better be careful... it looks like her pants are two seconds away from falling down. Maybe Fox will be lucky enough to witness a blue moon.

I like her assault out fit, but I also like whatever she wears (As long as it matches her fur).

Another awesome outfit of your own creation. I'm very fond of the jacket and the pants, with all the cool accessories, because they resemble those of Fox's. I didn't hate her Assault and Command outfits, exactly, but...I think it would be best if she dressed more like the guys did.

That being said, my biggest concern here is the middle area. I don't want to sound feminist or anything, but I don't think a tiny little bra-thing is of much function when you're an active mercenary. Also, I think this particular character has small breasts. Again, don't mean to be rude, it just looks a little over the top.

Still, overall, very cool stuff.

Oh well, If I'm gonna take praise, a little criticism never hurts.
Can't get any better without criticism, especially the constructive sort as such. Thanks again!

Well, I would imagine constructive criticism is half the point of sites like this, but yeah.

I mean, it's not even criticism against the drawing itself. It's not as though the anatomy is off or anything, it's a matter of context; this particular character, as far as canon goes, has a smaller, gymnast-type body. Of course, if you'd rather depict her as more voluptuous, that's your decision. I'm not really sure what you were going for.

Not trying to be annoying, but do you comment like this on everything you see? I find it interesting, because most comments I see are...just things like "cool" that sorta stuff.
I like that you actually look at the stuff I draw, and respond to it, like an artist.

I'm more of a writer than an artist (you can look at my own attempts at art and that should be obvious :p ), and as such, I try to leave comments that actually mean something. As far as this site's..."community" goes, nothing infuriates me more than thoughtless, generic comments that leave the impression that the commenter didn't even pay attention to the work they commented on. I'd rather people say nothing at all than something like "cool lol".

...I'm also a fan of the StarFox series, which is probably a factor, as well. I apologize if I seem nosy, I've done it before, but I just like to understand why some artists draw what they do and such.

Oh no, I don't mind at all! I just happen to be the curious sort! :)
I'm a bit of a writer to, but all I have up here are some old illustrations for a book I had been trying to get published sitting in my gallery.
